DESCRIPTION:It’s a large\, dedicated group of professionals at 17 Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratories. This elite group executes long-term government scientific and technological missions\, often with complex security\, safety\, project management or other operational challenges. And once a year\, these colleagues get together for the NLIT (National Laboratories Information Technology) Summit to discuss IT and cybersecurity issues that are unique to the national laboratory system. \nA multi-day event\, NLIT Summit facilitates an exchange of information management\, best practices\, strategies and methodologies. Each day consists of presentations\, panel discussions\, new equipment/technology demonstrations and information sharing. \nThe 2023 in-person NLIT Summit was a huge success\, with more than 180 industry companies supporting and over 450 government affiliated lab attendees from across the DOE Complex

There is an emphasis on providing opportunities for active participation and networking between attendees. Best practices\, strategies\, methodologies\, implementations\, lessons learned\, innovative solutions\, and emerging topics within the DOE community are shared during the Summit’s many sessions and events.
