Inc.<\/em> magazine recently unveiled its 37th<\/sup> annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation\u2019s fastest-growing private companies. With a three-year revenue growth of 71%, Sterling ranked #4,562 on the list.<\/p>\n

The Inc. 5000 provides a unique look at the most successful companies within the economy\u2019s most dynamic segment: its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino\u2019s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many others first gained national exposure as honorees of the list. Of the tens of thousands of companies that have applied to the Inc. 5000 over the years, only a handful have been featured more than once. A mere three and a half percent have made the list seven times.<\/p>\n

Not only have the companies on the 2018 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the 2018 recipients achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 538.2 percent, and a median rate of 171.8 percent. The Inc. 5000\u2019s aggregate revenue was $206.1 billion in 2017, accounting for 664,095 jobs over the past three years.<\/p>\n
