Sterling partnered with Dell Technologies to produce an advanced AI Factory for Leidos, a leading innovation company specializing in national defense technology. This significant project involved deploying high-performance Dell PowerEdge servers, PowerScale storage, and NVIDIA networking, optimized with Red Hat OpenShift for large-scale AI/ML workloads. Sterling’s certified engineers provided crucial onsite hardware configuration, virtualization strategy, and a comprehensive three-day training program covering hardware, NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, and OpenShift. This end-to-end solution, including system testing and knowledge transfer, showcases Sterling’s deep expertise in delivering complex, secure, and scalable AI infrastructure alongside NVIDIA product enhancements.
A commercial client utilized a cluster-based deployment for their RedHat OpenShift clusters. As they were not utilizing out-of-the-box, solutions they deployed these clusters on Azure’s Kubernetes Service (AKS). Sterling was able to work with the customer’s contracting agents and technical groups in order to validate their architecture and the pricing they were investigating as well as moving their pricing to on-demand, thereby affording them the ability to change and adjust as required for their utilization.
