Moore Named to Chamber Board

Jean Moore, owner and Executive Chairman of Sterling, was recently appointed to the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors. The announcement came amid the economic association’s 36th Annual Dinner, which featured a keynote address from former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, an awards presentation during which exemplary leaders from around the community were honored, and opportunities for networking amongst the event’s sold-out crowd of over 1,500 guests.

Included in the evening’s programing was an announcement recognizing those individuals who will be joining the ranks of the Chamber’s prestigious Board of Directors, of which Moore is now a part. Together with her new colleagues on the panel, her job is to advocate for local businesses, promote the economic welfare of the tri-state area and its diverse citizenry, and to enhance the region’s overall quality of life through active community involvement and other philanthropic pursuits. Moore will begin contributing immediately, lending a proven degree of leadership to the initiatives.

“For over a decade,” says Tim McCabe, President of Sterling, “Jean has been instrumental to the success of our company. We’re proud to have her representing Sterling, and we’re excited to see the impact she’ll make for the entire Siouxland business community.”

Each Chamber Board member is slated to serve a three-year term, bookended by the organization’s Annual Dinner each fall. To learn more about the Board or the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce as a whole, visit their website at www.siouxlandchamber.com.
