Sterling Technical Architect Named a Microsoft MVP

Sterling, an industry-leading technology solutions provider, is proud to announce that its own Davina Armstrong-Cruz, Senior Technical Architect, has earned a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award in the category of Windows & Devices for IT.

For over two decades, Microsoft’s MVP Awards have been recognizing technology experts and community leaders who actively support technical communities through unique, innovative, and consistent knowledge sharing. These community leaders possess deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services, while also being able to bring together diverse platforms, products, and solutions to solve real-world problems. Likewise, they consistently contribute to the developer and IT Pro communities, helping them learn, build, and use Microsoft products. With just over 3,000 total awardees around the globe, Microsoft MVPs represent a highly select group of individuals.

“This prestigious acclamation celebrates Davina’s advocacy and passion for Digital Workspace technologies,” says Ira Bargon, Director of Technology and Innovation at Sterling. “There are only 58 individuals in the world who are an MVP in this specific category, and Davina is only the fourth female professional to ever achieve this distinction. Needless to say, we are proud of her efforts, and we thank her for providing a tremendous example of Sterling’s technical talent and capabilities.”

In order to qualify for an MVP Award, applicants must meet four key criteria: They must demonstrate community influence and leadership; they must be a technical expert in their field; they must act as an advocate for the wider technology community; and they must contribute to the overall success of Microsoft’s products.

“As a recipient of this year’s Microsoft MVP award, Davina joins an exceptional group of individuals from around the world who have demonstrated a willingness to reach out, share their technical expertise with others, and help individuals maximize their use of technology,” adds The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional Award Team. “MVPs are technology’s best and brightest, and we are honored to welcome Davina as one of them.”
